As mentioned on our homepage, Mindfulness is about clarifying your day to day thoughts, feelings and emotions. It has worked for thousands of people just like you, so why not see the results for yourself in just 8 weeks.

Don’t worry, you don’t need to know anything about mindfulness before beginning the online or CD course, but if you are curious take a few minutes to watch the videos below;

Here is a short video that will help describe What is Mindfulness.

Also, in this 10-minute video from The Center for Mindfulness at UMass Medical Center, Jon Kabat-Zinn and others involved in the founding of MBSR provide some background about the MBSR program. Another good introduction to MBSR can be found in MBSR: An Introduction by Roberta F. Lewis.

This is a very informative 74-minute video by Jon Kabat-Zinn that goes into much more detail than the short videos above. It summarises some of the research that validates the practice of mindfulness in terms of physical health and psychological well-being.

The Importance of Practice:

Like any other skill that you are learning, the daily practice of mindfulness is extremely important. You do not learn to swim, dance, ride a bike by simply reading about it, and the practice of mindfulness is no different. After all Practice makes perfect!

What course materials do I need?

Each week you will be provided;

  • An audio file to listen to
  • A video to watch
  • Some reading to do

And the daily activity exercises and workbook to guide you in your practice.

We recommend picking a particular day of the week to begin your practice week. Use this day to listen to the provided audio/visual files and then begin the weeks practices!

“But I don’t really have the time” or “Is this not all a bit of a fad?”

You may still have your doubts but that’s ok, we’ve seen it before! Often our participants who enter into the mindfulness course with doubts and reservations, see the greatest results.

You will have access to a life-changing online Mindfulness program that will teach you a new way of being in the world.

Mindfulness meditation is not easy to do when you are stressed and you might hear yourself say things like, “but I don’t really have the time” or “Is this not all a bit of a fad?” These inner questions are your old negative scripts trying to keep you stuck in your old destructive habits. We believe you can break free from those habits and discover the hidden potential that is locked inside you.
